Retail Financial Analyst

Laderach North America seeking a Retail Financial Analyst. This Is a full-time, hybrid role based in an office in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate would have great attention to detail and enjoy working with numbers.

GENERAL DUTIES:

The Retail Financial Analyst who will support the daily activities related to the creation, generation, and maintenance of the financial analytics company reporting for the retail and E-Commerce channel

This Analyst will support more on the Retail Channel side of the business and must be Dallas-based.

JOB DUTIES:

• Perform reporting and analysis for end-of-month close; (sales reconciliations, Payroll analysis, update margin build-up file, update monthly & YTD P&L and update cost center file for Opex review).
• Support the budgeting, and forecasting process for the Retail division as well as month-end actuals including but not limited to invoiced merchandise and analysis on sales by season by account.
• Perform month-end close functions (i.e., account analysis, accruals, rental, reclasses and various journal entries) to improve cost accuracy.
• Reporting: update and distribute daily & weekly sales recap for DOS, Outlet and Ecomm channel
• Support budgeting and reporting activities with a focus on, but not limited to, labor costs, revenue, operating expenses, etc.
• Monitor financial performance, highlight trends across key performance indicators and analyze any substantial variances to understand the underlying causes.
• Perform seasonal (sales campaign) analysis on actual bookings and related margins by category and customer.
• Support the product pricing process by maintaining price adjustments in the system
• Generate ad hoc reports and perform analysis as required.
• Actively look for ways in which the company can improve its internal systems, reporting controls and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Math, Statistics or Economics
• 3 –5 years of experience working in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in Retail and E-Commerce
• Technical accounting and analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, vlookup’s ), as well as basic PowerPoint skills
• Must have Power Bi experience
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex projects with competing priorities and deadlines
• Maintains a high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of the organization
• Excellent time management skills
