We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Microbiology Manager to lead our microbiology team. This role requires subject matter expertise in microbiological testing, including Environmental Monitoring, bacterial endotoxin testing, bioburden assessments, and sterility testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

Supervise and mentor the microbiology team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.

Oversee training and development of staff to maintain high standards of competency and compliance.

Microbiological Testing:

Oversee and ensure the accuracy and reliability of microbiological testing, including Environmental Monitoring, bacterial endotoxin, bioburden, and sterility.

Develop and validate microbiological testing methods and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure all microbiological testing processes adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, ISO).

Monitor and review test results, documentation, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Resource Management:

Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, reagents, and supplies, ensuring optimal use and maintenance.

Oversee the budgeting process for the microbiology department and manage expenses effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. Master’s degree or higher preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in microbiological testing within the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, or related industries.

In-depth knowledge of microbiological testing methods and regulatory requirements.

Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software.
