Your Specific Responsibilities:
The Health Educator is a highly responsible position working as part of a team. This position is directly linked to the following DOH-Highlands strategic priorities: stakeholder satisfaction and community health improvement. The Closing the Gap program seeks to help eliminate health disparities around chronic diseases and targets low income, uninsured, underserved groups and minorities in Highlands County. This position works in collaboration with many health initiatives and programs at DOH-Highlands and offers health education programs for DOH-Highlands staff.
