Job Description

Overview

The Head of HR plays a critical role in leading and managing the human resources function within the organization. They are responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organizations business objectives and facilitate the recruitment retention and development of a highperforming workforce. This role carries substantial influence in shaping the organizational culture ensuring compliance with employment laws and fostering positive employee relations.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the organizations overall strategic objectives
  • Oversee all aspects of the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Design and implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Provide guidance and support in performance management talent development and succession planning processes
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues conducting thorough investigations when necessary
  • Direct and oversee the payroll and benefits administration processes
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies
  • Ensure HR initiatives are aligned with diversity equity and inclusion goals
  • Lead and develop the HR team providing coaching guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR programs and initiatives
  • Act as a strategic partner to the executive team providing insights and recommendations on HRrelated matters
  • Prepare and manage the HR budget ensuring resources are allocated effectively
  • Represent the organization in matters related to labor relations regulatory compliance and industry events
  • Drive change management initiatives and organizational development efforts to support business growth and transformation

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role overseeing a diverse range of HR functions and initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR strategy development and implementation with a strong understanding of employment law and regulations
  • Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to inspire and manage a highperforming HR team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices in talent acquisition performance management and organizational development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a track record of driving impactful HR solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully leading change management initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Certification in HR management or professional designation (e.g. SHRMSCP SPHR) is highly desirable
  • Experience working in a global or multinational organization is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant HR technology platforms

  • Adaptable and resilient with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic organizational environment
  • Proven ability to drive HR initiatives that directly contribute to business success and organizational growth
