Compensation Range: $29 - 33 per hour

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Designer to join our client's Product Marketing team for a hybrid, contract opportunity!


In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and engaging digital content for our client's online platforms. Your work will encompass designing illustrations, graphics, animations, and editing photography for email and social media to promote our digital products and services. You will also design internal newsletters, how-to guides, one-pagers, and case studies, ensuring that the digital content is not only visually stunning but also informative and engaging to both customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design visually appealing and engaging digital content for various online platforms, including email and social media.
• Develop illustrations, graphics, and animations that effectively communicate the brand message and captivate target audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand content requirements and develop appropriate, innovative designs.
• Stay informed on design trends and best practices, ensuring digital content remains fresh and engaging.
• Adapt designs based on feedback and performance analytics to continuously enhance content quality and impact.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all design work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Illustration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Content Designer, Graphic Designer, or Illustrator, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Solid understanding of best practices in email marketing design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in collaboration tools and software (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Miro).
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in designing animations for online use.
  • Experience working closely with product designers and content strategists.
  • Familiarity with the lifecycle of marketing campaigns.
  • Video editing skills.
