Commercial Roofing Estimator Wanted - 5+ Years Experience Required

Position: Commercial Roofing Estimator
Responsibilities:
* Utilize your extensive experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator to estimate, compile bids, and generate proposals, ensuring they are completed on time.
* Conduct detailed take-offs from project drawings and building locations.
* Collaborate with sales staff to prepare accurate proposals before the prospective customer due date.
* Apply your deep knowledge as a Commercial Roofing Estimator to review and prepare project bids, ensuring overall cost accuracy in line with company procedures.
* Scrutinize contracts for accuracy in pricing and scope.
* Develop submittal packages and notice of awards for manufacturer guarantees.
* Create change order estimates for approval and prepare purchase order requests.
* Engage in pre-construction and pre-job meetings to ensure smooth project hand-off from estimating to project management.
* Coordinate project activities to achieve successful, on-time, and in-budget completion.
* Complete project closeout documents and participate in post-job reviews to analyze actual costs versus estimated costs for future project use.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator with 5+years in both office or field settings.
* In-depth knowledge of various roof systems, materials, construction processes, design, code compliance, and manufacturers' warranty requirements.
* Proficient in analyzing blueprints, plans, proposals, and specifications.
* Experience with estimating software, particularly Edge, is essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
