Estimator/Takeoff Specialist (Commercial Roofing)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator/Takeoff Specialist with experience in commercial roofing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs and providing takeoff services for commercial roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct takeoff services and accurately estimate costs for commercial roofing projects
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and project engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals for new projects
• Maintain accurate records of project costs and progress

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial roofing as an estimator or takeoff specialist
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing materials, systems, and processes
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in using industry software and tools for estimating and takeoff services, such as RoofSnap, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Nice to have skills: Project management experience, roofing experience, project engineering experience, and superintendent experience.
